4.15.6 Zone Response (Debounce) Speed
Through programming, you select the zone response speed for the type of hardware you are
installing. The chart below shows the response (debounce) speeds available. The very fast rate
of 10 milliseconds (needed for devices such as audio glass break detectors) is available only
for internal or 4825 type zones. See Section 6 of this manual for details about how to make
selections for zone options.
Note: In the Response Speed column above, the range of numbers in parentheses shows the duration (millisec-
onds or seconds) that the zone response speed represents. The larger number is the minimum duration that
the zone must remain in a changed state in order for the change to always be recognized by the system. The
smaller number is the maximum duration that the zone can be in a changed state in order to
not
be recog-
